Aha! Thanks for clarifying...you want to know about "ego".

New answer: "Ego" just means what it is like for you to be yourself as an independent being in the world. We all need to have a sense of self or "ego" to survive in the world.

Our sense of being ourselves ("ego") helps us to care for ourselves, to make life decisions, and to become independent people. When we have a good sense of self in the world, we can be good friends, spouses and parents to others who might depend on us. Ego also helps us to look at the world in a realistic way.

You need to balance your ego with those of others to live harmoniously. If your ego's too strong, you'll be considered selfish and egocentric. If your ego's too weak, you'll feel like you're being walked over by others.

A good way to have a healthy sense of yourself or "ego" is to have a sense of values and commitments that are important to you. These will give you drive and purpose. And balance that with some humility and compassion for others.

I hope this helps!

Old answer: I know what an "ego" is, and I know what an "eco system" is, but I never heard of an "ego system".

If you actually mean an "eco system", it refers to how all parts of nature are related to each other. When everything is related as in nature, if you affect one thing, everything else is affected. "Eco system" is the short way of saying "ecology system".

Global warming is a good example. When we burn coal, we create pollution that warms the air, that causes global temperatures to rise, that melts glaciers, that adds fresh water to the oceans, which in turn changes the composition and the temperature of the oceans, that change fish migration patterns, etc.

The eco system is important, because it is how the earth survives. How the earth survives will definitely affect if and how the human race survives. We all have an important role in protecting our eco system.

Ego System?
In his theory of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud sought to explain how the unconscious mind operates by proposing that it has a particular structure. He proposed that the self was divided into three parts: the Ego, the Superego, and the Id.

or ECOsystem
a functional unit consisting of all the living organisms (plants, animals, and microbes) in a given area, and all the non-living physical and chemical factors of their environment, linked together through nutrient cycling and energy flow. An ecosystem can be of any size-a log, pond, field, forest, or the earth's biosphere-but it always functions as a whole unit. ...

Are you sure you don't mean eco-system? That is a collection of living things that support each other.

I've never heard of an ego system...if that's really the phrase you're after, I would only assume that it's a slang/sarcastic phrase.
