Unfortionatly for you force is the determining factor in all land disputes. Israel has a larger, better equiped military then all the nations that wish it's destruction, case closed.

Israel is officially recognized by the United Nations as a country. They have less radical militant groups there then most surrounding Arab countries. Israel has the military power to take over the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, however, it does not to prevent the militant groups in other countries from attacking it more than they do. They are also believed, by some people(certainly not all), to unofficially have nuclear arms.

Can anybody prove that the US is a country? I think they're a bunch of ugly genocidists who slaughter thousands who lived there first. The US is nothing but a dark cloud over the whole world, bullying and bombing wherever Dick Cheney thinks his cronies could make money by exerting control over natural resources. With more and more and more people willing to blow themselves up to hurt the US, and more and more of our enormous debt being owned by foreign countries, it may be gone soon.

Yup.

They have a government, a capitol, a military and even have a seat in the United Nations. They even show up on a map.

For further proof, just Google "Israel".

You are entitled to your opinion, but the fact remains that Israel exists as a nation.

First, the UN gave them the land in the early 20th century. Israel used the land in order to become their own country. Second, Israel will not be gone, you should read the Bible.

i am a Muslim but i do agree with Israel, because i do agree with all humanity, and i do agree with Palestinian as well. i think anybody who is human (not animal in form of human) do agree with the right of living for all people around the world, they are all from God and also they have right to live. unfortunately some stupid person like Iranian president in the name of Islam is telling that Israel should be wipe up from map, i think anybody who has a little humanity can understand how oppressive these words is.
unfortunately some very cruelly people in the name of Islam are destroying Islam and they are enemy of god and Islam and all people around the world.

How do you prove you are a country. The United Nations recognizes them as a country. That should be proof enough.

A country isn't a country unless they can prove it to at least themselves.

If they have a military, and they own territory, then they're a country.

Other's don't have to acknowledge any country as a country... but if you want them to stop saying they're a country then you have to destroy them. Other wise they're a country as long as they say they are.

(I ain't talking U.N. - I'm talking reality.)
