ive got an old bug with fiberglass fenders on it,i want to mold them in before i paint it.., the bug is metal the fenders are fiberglass..Will i encounter any adhesion problems, if i try to mold the fenders in with fiberglass and a little bondo???fiberglass will stick to anything wont it???thanks for ur time...

It will NOT make a chemical bond it can only make a mechanical bond. Wrap the resin and glass around the metal or put some holes in it (make the resin act like a rivet. If you try to stick it to a flat surface it WILL break lose not matter how much you prep it.

Use 60 grit sand paper to rough up the metal surface and apply several layers. I would suggest using the bondo with fiberglass, sand it down with every layer. Rivet the fender and use epoxy to hold the fender on. Good luck.

Yes, it can. Just prep the metal for the resin to adhere to.

Clean & prep well, it will stick.
Use Bondo last, to fill lows.

when i hear fiberglass, it makes me scream,, that **** itches,, i installed showers with a fiberglass outside and that was so crappy,, anyway back to your question, i think you can do that
