The best way to "fix" it is to go on the pill now...even if you don't feel like counting the days to figure it out, it doesn't matter....you can safely take the pill continuously for a couple of months straight prior to your wedding date (ie. if you booked an October wedding, then take the pills continuously for September and October, without the usual placebos or week break for your period) and you won't get a period at all. It's safe and easy... you will skip your period and have a smokin' wedding night... :) See a nurse practitioner and she'll set you up.... congrats!

I don't think women think about it when deciding on their wedding day, but the doctor can give you something to delay your period for a time.

i don't think it really matters, you can take the pill and run two packs together to ensure that you won't be "on". However, my sister was regular as clockwork and still came "on" on her big day. All the stress and worrying brought it on i think. Stress is a big thing and can make your cycles irregular as hell!

Stress causes MOST women to menstruate on their wedding day..........
Nowadays Doctors can prescribe something.
So see your GP and have a wonderful wedding - and life together.

as far it is not adviced to get married before you had sex with somebody, as good relationship is also based on good sex, it is not really important if you have period or not, and anwyay during period you can have sex, its just a little more blood;)
