You can't co-sign on a student loan. They are not set up that way. But if you signed on a loan your responsible if the person fails to make the payments.

Student loans are not co-signed, someone found a sucker and your it.
next time you need to read it before you sign it.
you will remain responsible for the loan til it is paid in full, if the other party backs out on paying the bill it will be you they'll be coming after to finish paying it off.

Yes you are held responsible untill the loan is paid back. So better make sure the person is paying.
