Yes, stay strong and do NOT give in!
If he truely loved you, he would never have hurt you!
You could try to be "nice" and remain friends,
but be direct and up front. Let him know you are
not intetrested in anything more than friendship.
If he is persistent, still, you may have no choice but
to completely cut ties with him, regardless of how
he feels.

What's important is how you feel.
And, you don't want to get hurt again..

It could be the best thing but not the best decision. I don't think its good to cut someone off completely. you don't ever know when you would need this guy! I think another chance is possible. Peaple do change and things does get better but if you know for a fact its not a good choice then don't do it. Its good to forgive others! you should remember that!

If you know it is best for you then of course do it. Why give them another chance to do it again? You really are not hurting them, did they think of your feelings when they did their hurtful thing?

He hurt you, and he can do it again. If you don't want to talk to him, he shouldn't talk to you. It's called stalking.

If you're worried about hurting his feelings, then are you sure you want nothing to do with him? Is there some way he can prove he won't hurt you again? If so, have him do it before you even talk to him again. If not, then talking to him puts you at risk of being hurt again. Is there anything he has that's worth that risk?

You have to do what's best for you, because nobody else will.

That would be up to you if you know that he will hurt you then. Tell him he hurt you to bad and you are not willing to take that can of chance on him.

Get on with your life and leave him in the past. If you don't then it will hold you back. Don't let any "guilt trip" get in your way. It's not worth it. The rest of your life awaits you.
