I think they are needed. But I think the protection of airports needs to start before the terroists are at a check out window,

I guess my thoughts are a combination of all of the above. It is necessary for the restrictions to be in place to protect people. But if you dont like it, you can drive. Nobody is forced to get on a plane or to do anything for that matter. I always hated the wait at the airport, it was bad already before all this came down, now it is probably much worse. So I will be driving over flying as much as I possibly can.

Why bother with that. Just make everyone change in to airport robes and sandals before boarding the plane! I was going to say fly naked, but that would be ridicules wouldn't it?

I can understand why they are banning them. But it is over the top. I stopped flying after I went to the airport for a flight and I was told to take off my shoes and run them through the x-ray machine. I said no more flying for me.....

I don't have much of a problem with it. They're just trying to protect us. But I'll be pissed if they ban electronics, then I can't listen to my CD player and that'll drive me nuts.

Totally agree. Hope they ban all carryon luggage. Rather be safe than dead.

No problem. I love any airplane that'll take me out of California.
