i think a lot of muslim children feel a little scared to go to school, they're always thinking about what others may be thinking about them.
also, don't you think children of other religions pick up negative vibes from the media about muslims in general?
it sounds like a vicious circle.

I totally agree with you! My kids go to private school because of that. I don't want them to be ridiculed by children who pick up on the religious intolerance from their parents and the media. Things like this really affect little kids and they way they think about themselves.
These are really bad times and it doesn't seem like it's getting any better.

Personally, I wouldn't. I have a couple muslim friends back home, and they are wonderful people; they shouldn't be judged by the radicals one hears about in the news. On another note, I do agree with you that this generation is probably forming negative muslim stereotypes.

I'm not .....
In Canada they have their own schools to attend or they can go to regular school ---it's up to them to chose which one for their kids.
Most have businesses and I do enjoy foreign foods, all the ones I have met have treated me good.

I made friends with a muslim once on accident, he was blonde. My Mom got mad so I acted weird around him and he stopped talking to me.
