Well ive been going on and off with this guys and i aslways wondered if he was gay...i mean he never acted like it but im the kind of person who likes to question to the next degree...so to try to find out i sent him an email pretending to be a guy saying if he wanted to chat up and he replied...is he gay or am i over speculating

Stop worrying what difference does it really make your just dating. Enjoy the time you have together, one never knows how long it will be. Just enjoy darling thats all you got to do, and after you mastered that, growth will come naturally with a flow to life.

Now, my question is why you are caring so much. So what if he's gay. If that's how he feels, then that's how he feels, there's nothing wrong with it! If this guy doesn't tell you whether he's gay or not, it may mean that he's not ready to tell you, or he just doesn't want to tell you at all. Don't you think you're invading his privacy by emailing him and pretending to be a guy who's interested in him? Don't worry about it at all, because there is nothing to worry about anyway.

Something deep inside you is causing you to be concerned about this guy. This gut feeling or intuition is probably telling you to just leave him alone and that feeling is probably right. With feelings this strong and what you have found out, you could never be comfortable around this guy knowing you may be competing with him over a boyfriend. This is ridiculous. If he's never given you reason before to assume he is gay, then why are you starting all this trouble? To me it sounds like you're bored, insecure, and need some attention, therefore creating a heinous situation to immerse yourself in. Lay off of the poor guy.

I'm old and a wonderful older man, who I cherished explained that males often experimented and tested their boundries and this was normal but you are not ready to accept the gay lifestyle, so why chance that. well the thing is,he could hav interpreted the e-mail wrong and saw you as a nu friend, you're so intent on luring him and confirming your suspicions that what ever his response may have been, once it was not negative would hav been like some sort of confirmation to you and three, you've got to be lying to yourself, prople don't just go around suspecting nice normal

You e-mailed him with your own e-mail account or someone else's? Because if you e-mailed him from your personal e-mail address he already knows it was you.
What makes you think he is gay? Is he a drama queen? Flippity wrist?
Did you ask him if he were gay? That would be the best way to find out.

well you know he always just could be bi also and if he is bi then that shouldn't be a problem he might like guys and girls at the same time and if you have concerns just sit and talk with him one day and if he is gay then you should just be Friends but if he is just bi then you should still go out with him because being bi should not change your feelings towards him.
