I have two computers one a laptop and the other a regular computer. We recently switched from 5.0 kpbs to 3.0 kpbs on roadrunner. The regular pc works fine w/ the internet as soon as we changed but the other one(laptop) wont let me connect to the internet. Do i need to program the laptop something different? Tell me what to do.

It sounds like your IP address isn't changing on the laptop. I need to know what Operating systems you are running on both and do you have the laptop and regular pc networked together through a router?

Try turning off the Laptop, Desktop, Monitor and DSL modem in this order. Leave off for 1-2 mins. the start back up in reverse. I think the IP of the Laptop is bing corrupted. This happens to me occasionally and this cures the problem for me.
