Hmm, you too, huh?
When I realize it, which happens from time to time, I just kind of sit there ... being quiet, thinking, feeling something irritating in my soul. Just knowing I made the "life-changing" mistake, is bad enough but then to look around and see what is and what could have been ... can hurt.
Depression kind of floats in that dark cloud above me, but that gets old and I realize I'm just feeling sorry for myself, which is pointless ... so I go Back to the time Before this "Realization" and work from there. If I can still reach that plateau, then I'll chart a course to it. If it's something that is realistically not obtainable or doesn't enhance the life I already have, I just let it go emotionally.
Ya know Mel, we're all just passing through. Not all opportunities are for us. What's meant to be, will be. Perhaps we're better off being where we are ... instead of where we could have been, and we may never know. ($hit happens, no matter what path you take in life.)
Live with an open heart, and move foreword. There's always the Rest of The Way!

Picture life as a road...you're going along and drat! You've realized you've taken a wrong turn.
Now, on this road, you cannot turn around (cannot turn back time), therefore you either keep going the rate you are, and change nothing, or even though it will be rough, you beat your way through the woods, and eventually come out on the road you wanted to be on in the first place.

Back up a step,Take a few deep breaths,
Look at where you took that wrong turn. You can pinpoint it exactly by using brutal honesty with yourself.
Isolate the things that you think made you take that
particular path.
One by one, find the information on each point.
Take the steps needed to eradicate the things that you
are doing to yourself that are hurting you.If it's drugs,
Go get help.If it's relationships,consult an expert.
If it's money, get the education needed to make more.
(if it's really that important)
Surround yourself with people who are positive
and fair to others. There ARe others out there who
will respect you and who try to do the right thing
with every aspect of their lives.
Life is so very short. We have no choice but to be happy. It could all end tomorrow.
That is the reason that I feel it's important to be grateful for it all, your victories and defeats.
I wish you the very best.I'm sure you will get back on
the right road if youv'e lost it.Now,get back on your bike!

Well it all depends on have for down the wrong path you have gone, turning around and going there other direction usually helps.
I have made some very bad choices in my life some I can change and others it is much to late to do anything about them.
So if you think that you have made a wrong turn in life and you can turn around , turn around and go in the right direction.
You can always change if you catch it in time.
Make the change if you can.

Try to get back on the right road. Or make the most out of the situation. In the end you may just be taking a longer route there but your still on your way

start new things over if possible or make change to keep the track. Along with that, Never sorry for what you've done. Be happy along the way... It's no use to get worried. When u are depressed, it'll be a long nightmare.

Learn from the mistake and move on. The next time I turn down that road I know what to do. Don't go down that road anymore because of the experience I had the last time.

If there's anything you can do to correct your mistake, do it. otherwise, forget it and get on with your life. Maybe it will turn out that it was not really a mistake, but the best thing that could happen to you, or that it isn't really so bad as you think it is now.
No matter what happens, we must go on with our lives and make the best of it. Smile!

Learn what you can from it and the next time a turn comes around you might have a better chance of making the right turn.

Once you have realized the wrong turn, reflect upon it and make a conscience decision to move forward in the right direction.
