Why are these people being mean about the size thing? Not everyone is a size zero. Instead of saying "nothing looks good on fat people" actually suggest something. Why should anyone hope for a blimp to crash next door? Clothes come in all different sizes and it's not what you wear but how you wear it. To answer your question, try Lane Bryant, Torrid, Avenue, if your town has a Deb, Cato, Target, etc. Try dept stores. Good luck and have fun!! I'm sure you will look good in whatever you decide to wear!!

don't let what anyone's saying here hurt your feelings.. i'm sure you're a gorgeous, fun-loving girl. and you should stay that way and not let anyone change that by saying anything mean... i guess you'd say i'm slender, and i am a model.. but coming from a model, i know people are all different shapes and sizes, and a lot of people think models aren't real girls and are stuck up and don't care about larger people... well they're totally wrong about me... coming from a model, i'm sure you're gorgeous!! they probably make me look skinnier than i am in my pictures anyway.... i don't really think anyone can be super skinny accept if they have eating disorders.. which i think is disgusting that someone hate their body so much, they would get sick and risk dying just to be skinny.. that's just horrible.. so really, the best advice i can give here, is be who you are no matter what people say. i saw some people on here gave horrible answsers that would make me feel bad if i was you.. so just to let you know, don't listen to them.

a few stores you can try are...

lane bryant, the avenue, liz claiborne, jones new york, bloomingdales, and macys. they seem to have good stuff... for NORMAL people, like you. i know these places because my mom was overweight for a while.. and i went here with her sometimes.. i was actually a little sad because i thought by her being overweight would risk health issues, which some did.. so that's why i'd encourage you to try to diet and excersize, just so you can be even healthier than you are now.. because yeah, i guess i was scared about my mom when she was heavier.. and now that she's okay.. i'm much more comfortable.. so just try please.. for your own good...

i wish you the best of luck!

If you are US based, try www.igigi.com - they have a lot of really nice clothes. If you are in the UK try Nomads, Razzberry Bazaar, Evans and Elvi. Monsoon also have some ranges in 20-22 (UK sizes) as do Next. Lady bwear also ships worldwide (www.ladybwear.co.uk) - some of their things are a bit risque but they have a good BBW clothing section. Good luck and I hope you have a really good night out!

I'm not sure where you live or what stores you have around you, but I've seen a really trendy cute store for plus sized women called Torrid in several malls, if you know of where one may be, try that. There's always Lane Bryant and try to go to department stores also, they usually have a wide selection. Good Luck!

Have you tried Evan's they do up to size 32.
Most of your high street shops like Next will do up to size 22 and New Look who do up to size 24.

Have a look on eBay as well cause you can get nice stuff there too.

Good luck babes and I hope you have a wicked night out!
