My History bar's all cluttered up and I'd rather just get where I want to go the normal way. But I don't want to fool with the sites in My Favorites. Thanks for any help!

No, it doesnt. Just clear the history on it. whenever you want to visit a favorite site, just click on the link for your favorites and it will directly go that site! :)

Your favorites are compeltely seperate from your history and cache.

The only thing that might happen is that if your cookies are cleared out, you'll have to restore usernames, passwords and settings at sites that create cookies by revisiting them.

no - just clears the history file of the sites you have visited. If you bookmarked sites then they are saved in "Favorites" unless you specifically delete them.

No, it doesn't affect favorites. But after deleting the history you can't see your favorites pages offline like other pages. But you will have your favorites addresses.

No, it is safe to do so, and do so often, at least daily. Under "Start" click "Controll Panel"-- under "Internet Options" click and also delete cookies, files and visited web pages, but NOT Settings.
