By living a good life. When you die you won't go to heaven, just oblivion, like every other life form does. Heaven needs to be created and lived right here on Earth.

Trying to live for the afterlife is missing the whole point of living. It is missing the forest for the trees. THIS life is what's important, because it's the only one you're guaranteed to get.

#1 Recognize your condition
Romans 3:23
No one is good enough to go to Heaven on his own merit. No matter how much good we do, we still fall short.

#2 Realize the penalty for sin
Romans 6:23
Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.

#3 Believe Jesus Christ died for you
Romans 5:8
Christ's great love for us was shown when He died on the cross to pay our debt.

#4 Trust Christ alone as your Saviour
Romans 6:23 and Romans 10:13
Everlasting life is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus and offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith.

Start with the book. If you're serious, you know each page leads further away from a place you'll never come out of, that you won't like. All the motive anybody needs.

Ever tried chocolate cake? thats pure heaven....ok ok i will be serious. According to my faith you have to accept jesus into your heart/life, believe he died for our sins. Try attending a christian church for more info. If you never attended a chrch before i suggest a non denominational church, seems to be less conservative than most others. Good luck and god bless you!
