I have a friend who lost her father on Wednesday, a lot of her past hours, weeks, months maybe even years have been taken up taking care of him. Now that he's gone she says she feels lost, and does not know what to do. What can I say to her to help her feel better and what are some suggestions to help fill up her hours now?
AGAIN ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!!! THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS QUESTION!!!

Having lost my Mother at 18 and father at 20 I have some experience in this. I know nothing anybody said or did helped. It was something I just had to go through and time does help heal. In the mean time just be a good friend, listen when she wants to talk, be understanding when she doesn't. Don't try to forse anything. Time is the only thing that will help.

well i am not joking around but does she have a job. if she doesnt she should get a nice job that she really likes. she could also join some sort of club or if she like to workout she could get a membership to a gym. i feel sorry for her. it is very sad that her father died. she probably just needs support right now. i hope everything gets better for her. i will pray for her to find something to do with her time and i will pray that she wont feel pain about her loss.

*have a very nice day*

Sorry to hear about her lose. I think is sounds like she needs some form of counselling. She may say that she does not want it but I think she will get a lot of benefit out of it. Hope it all works out for her.

There is really nothing you can say to make her feel better. give her a chance to grieve, then start helping her find what she now wants to do with her life, because now she has the whole world open before her now.

Take her out and do some activities with her. Find out what she used to do before all this happened.
