In all seriousness, if you have a "lazy" baby iguana, you culd have a problem. If it just spends a lot of time sitting and basking, then thats normal, or if it hides all the time it's just stressed. But if by "lazy" you mean it doesn't appear alert, or react when you reach your hand in and try to take it out, then something is probably wrong. Baby iguanas are supposed to be bright eyed and a little spazzy. You need to make sure it's getting proper diet, temperatures, and lighting (Fluorescent UVB lighting is a must). If everything is set up properly and he still appears listless, I suggest a trip to the vet. Check out http://www.anapsid.org/iguana/index.html

put him on your hand and let him walk around its better to get an older one and leave the babys to the breeders because with the 1 yr olds you can fit a leash around them (harness) and walk them over the yard or if you have a house get chicken wire or screen mesh and put a shallow pond where you want it to go and place the coverings around the pond so he can have his own little area but keep it large enough so that when hes older he can fit and put some dirt or grass around it. My recomendations is the screen so no mosquitos come in but sunlight does put a shady place in the enviroment so he doesnt go deep fryed like a little wooden box with a hole in it large enough to let it come and go as it pleases if you have already fed it the its best not to let it go because he will already be too dependant on you once he realises you are his god you feed him plus if he is a baby the other iguanas will pick on him and eventually end up hurting him badly my baby iguana ended up with broken legs because of kiwi my 1 yr old iggy

iguanas should not be pets cuz there token from the wild any way its stressed out by something probably cuz its miserably give it a big tank with lots of food water and thing 2 climb on and entertain itself or a light. the best thing 2 do would be 2 let it go by a lake thats ware they live anyway.

just pick baby iguana up a few times a day, put it on you hand let it walk around in it. babys are so fragile and they are still sleepy they will come out of it. Give it sunshine too they love it, make sure theres shade and water for it too.

First are you feeding him proporly. If you are then just get him out and let him run around. Or put water in your bath tub and let him swim. One other thing be shure he is getting enough heat, being cold makes them sluggish.
