yea!! they heat up the marshmallow to just to melting temperature, and roll it into a thin, string like line. then, while it hardens a bit, they carefully burn a bunch of small holes where the marshmallow "string" will go through. then, once marshmellow has slightly hardend, they put the string through the holes and use the lighter once more to melt the marshmellow, to seal the tear a slight bit more. and presto good as new, and even comes with a snack if you get hungry!

No. I have a feeling you're the type of person who wears polyester trousers, given that you also wear lederhosen. They'd explode into flames at even the sight of the lighter, something even the best tailor couldn't avoid. As for the marshmallows...would you honestly WANT them on the seat of your pants? You'd stick to everything you sat on. The marshmallows would melt under your body heat anyway and the hole would return.

I've never heard that one before......then again I am in Australia, maybe things are different over there....I wouldn't trust a tailor if he used a lighter on my suits anyway, he might burn them and cover the hole with marshmallows then paint it so I won't notice!!! My advice is to learn how to repair them yourself....you will save time and money!!

Yes, but a great tailor can do it with only a human hair.

Could you send me some of the meds you are on ???? A good submarine mechanic can also put screen doors on submarines and propel torpedoes with flaming marshmallows .
