explain in as much detail because i am going into 6th year next week and i want to automatically start art work cause i am bored at the moment.that goes when the summer is dry and the weather is hot etc sounds like shaggy?

Alas I never did Art for the leaving cert but I do know you will need a portfolio so it might be a good idea to think about subjects or things you like to draw etc...
The summer has been weird lately eh? hehe. Definately not hot tho.. you must be in a different Ireland ;)

"There are four exams to sit at the end of sixth year – three will be done and dusted before the Leaving Cert even starts. The three practical exams – life drawing, still life and design craft – are held in May and students receive their papers a week in advance in order to prepare for their composition.
The fourth paper, Art History, falls in with the regular Leaving Cert Calendar. “The art history component draws from an enormous syllabus, but students only have to answer three questions out of 23. You can be quite specific about what you study for art history,”
"the art syllabus as we know it is about to change, and the students of 2006/07 will probably be launching into a brand new syllabus."
