Well, I got alot of answers and feedback from everyone. Everyone has a different view on this matter. What makes me laugh is that alot of people on here assume that being an illegal immigrant means lazy and freeloader. Now, I will be the first to admit that Yes, there are some smoochers living off our hard earned money while they sit at home and watch "JOSE LUIS SIN CENSURA", but same can be said about the 'american' than gets welfare and sits at home watching "JERRY SPRINGER." Don't make your judgement based on the bad apples. There are alot of good illegal folks out there that earn an honest dollar to support the family. What always crosses through my mind is :Isn't it amazing how we are allowed to go into other countries and expect to be welcomed just because we're "americans" ? And to that comment that it has never been posted on this site that immigrants are not welcomed, I ask you to look twice. Alot of characters on here that post. Its a free country I know, get educated 1st. :)

You can't teach the ignorant. They're ignorant, and therefore, don't know or will know any better. Freeloaders and people who abuse the system exist all the way up to executives in charge of huge companies. Stop generalizing and educate yourselves.

We are a nation of immigrants, except the Native Americans who were already here. So as a nation of immigrants, ignorant people forget where their ancestors came from. I do not approve of illegal immigrants, but I know most are hard workers who are doing the jobs that nobody else wants. I do not approve of illegals only because my wife is Peruvian and we have been through the immigration process and feel others should do the same. That does not make me a racist because illegal immigrants can come from anywhere, even Europe. I knew a Russian from a couple of years ago who was an illegal. Do not judge the ignorants for they know not what they say.

I don't expect to be welcomed in another country if I try to live there without authorization from the government. I only expect to be welcomed there while I'm on vacation.

If all of those illegal immigrants want to move back to their country of origin, and then come here on vacation, I will welcome them with open arms...Especially if they come here with money to spend, like I do when I go somewhere else.

You said "There are a lot of good illegal folks out there"...do you recognize the oxymoron in your sentence? Good and illegal don't match...They might be hard workers, but they're still here illegally. I recognize that there is a process involved, but in truth, it's not that hard to become a citizen and be here legally - I know quite a few people who have done it.

I will agree with you on one point, in particular - I generally prefer the working illegals to the welfare-earning citizens. Somebody's got to have a work ethic, after all! Unfortunately, both of these create a drain on our society, and I'd like to see both problems eliminated (oh, if wishes were horses...)

I don't know... I give up... could it be they were educated in the American school system? It that doesn't make a person ignorant, I don't know what does.
