Because man did not evolve from apes. The Bible tells us that God created animals and humans. It does not say that God created monkeys and humans form from them. This is a belief that was started to give atheists a sense of belonging in this religious world. It isn't true!

If God created Adam from the dust of the ground, then why is there still dust?
If I were to come debate a religious topic with you, I would be expected to understand your actual religious beliefs and not just make up things and say you believe them. That's what you're doing when you make up or repeat stories like this and attribute them to evolution.
The Theory of Evolution does not say man evolved from apes, it says that man and apes share a common ancestry. Apes and humans are both primates, but humans are not apes and visa versa.

Modern man belongs to the genus Homo, which is a subgroup in the family of hominids. What evolved into Homo was likely the genus Australopithecus (once called "man-ape"), which includes the famed 3.2 million-year-old "Lucy" fossil found three decades ago.
The whole human family tree, being able to connect the branches is the life work of anthropoligists and other scientists. The great apes are man's closest cousins, they developed off the main family of hominids.

Everything on the planet evolved from varying types of germs & bacteria so naturally if a new species evolves from another it follows that not all of the old species changes.
Look at it like this. If everything evolved at the same rate or in totally the same way then we would all be identical in looks, actions etc. In fact there would be no differences between humans at all.

The apes you see today are the one who missed the train and got caught in a flood that made all the banana trees produce more bananas than they could eat because there weren't as many apes to feed when a bunch had left to go to town to STAY in the getthos and ended staeling, pimping, selling drugs and driving big cars that squat down in the back // so the apes decided we have gotten rid of all the trash and humans are dealing with them and we can stay here and eat our good supply of bananas and laugh all the way to the naext banana bank/// my Name :: is Dr Oscar leroy Hamilton phd Skullbone Social University Institute of Higher Learning and Behivorable Sciecne///

If dogs descended from wolves, why are there still wolves? (Not precisely the same as evolution, but...)
Humans and other modern primates (e.g. apes) evolved from a common ancestor millions of years ago.
Find a more creative way to challenge the theory of evolution - that one is a bit worn out with use.

That old hackneyed question again. Atheists have answered that question time and time again with the same simple and obvious answer (geographical separation, different environments cause different evolution, environments can cause animals to stay the same just as they can cause animals to change), and yet you creationists KEEP ASKING IT because it is one of the only arguments that you have, extremely weak though it is. In the mean time, you are implicitely libelling atheists as if they had not already answered that question (because why would a person ask a question that was answered a million times). For the record, atheists have already answered that question countless times already; I am just one more.
