You want to use the "exponent rules" to make it all look simpler.

Inside the parentheses, 6x^3/3x^4=3*2*x*x*x/3*x*x*x*x
cancelling the common factors
=>2/x
Then you have to square: 2/x*2/x=4/x^2.

((6x^3)/(3x^4))^2

((6/3) * x^(3 - 4))^2

(2x^-1)^2

2^2 * x^(-1 * 2)

4x^-2

ANS : 4/(x^2)
