Her dresses have to be layered, so that when she is wrapped up, or having the confetti dumped over her, she can pull down the new "dress" to be in a different wardrobe. Essentially, I think that she's always wearing the same dress, just with different sides showing.
What I can't figure out are the lengths--her Red, White and Blue dress is longer than the others. How could she hide the extra length under the shorter layers?
So, after I posted this, I went and read some more about it. While no one is going to post the "magician's secret" about it, I did find a book that mentioned the different types of fastening involved in quick-change. Apparently, there are: tear away seams, the hook and eye fastener, Velcro, the double press stud/poppers fastener, the hook and loop fastener, the magnet fastener, the simplest pull fastener, the pull with eyelets fastener, the tunnel pull fastener, the double pull fastener, the fish bone pull fastener, the crochet fastener, the tunnel crochet fastener, the incredible speed spring seam, the elastic speed thread and finally the "non plus ultra": the prepared zipper.
Yeah--so they do it with fasteners and zippers. I guess she unhooks one dress to show a new dress.
