right click mouse and disable or get into the programs and disable them

2 approaches:
1) hide the quick launch bar (right click on the task bar, hover up to toolbars and uncheck quicklaunch), or
2) delete the actual icons (right click on an icon and choose "delete" from the menu).

If you want to just remove them from ther just right click the task bar, go to tool bars and uncheck the Quick launck check mark. If you want to get rid of just one icon just right click and delete.
