Yes, but only bc it is like having a cell phone or something. Everyone has one,and it seems to be the way people want to keep in touch instead of email. I hate how it breaks all the time though.

I think it is a "grocery store" for sexual predators. Too many kids and teens. It is a great way for parents to "spy" on their kids though. I have seen some pics that showed my 15 yr old daughter at a party with a beer can in her hand. And it wasn't on her page. You can see who the kids are hanging out with too.

As far as the site itself, many of the users pages are extremely cluttered. Though I prefer Yahoo 360* It does not have the music available like on myspace.com Although most of the music on user pages on myspace is really crap. There is not an option of "not hearing" it, if you do not want to other than turning off your speakers.

There also has been notes sent from the school district that
I live in stating that kids have been making on-line threats to other kids and have been suspended from school

Basically it is a site that is unmonitored and allows kids too much freedom. I also feel that it is extremely easy to download viruses etc. all to easy.

I think myspace is fun for the first couple of days when you're trying to decorate your page and get a bunch of friends. but then it gets kinda boring and scary after strangers start emailing you and saying that they'd like to get to know you. I have also noticed that a lot of the time the profile pics aren't really what the person looks like so if you're judging by appearance think again.

I think its great and a good site to talk to friends and reunite with those you lost touch with.. theres all this controversy about myspace being dangerous but i really dont think that at all.. parents and media blame ppl for whats done to their kids on this site but in reality they dont know what their kids really do when no ones watching..

Myspace rules, it is a great way to find old friends, and check out music and other stuff.

It breaks all the time, is slow and has too many adverts.... I own http://steeky.com and much prefer using that.

Also, myspace doesn't have many privacy options. Steeky is community controlled so if there's a feature people ask for I will add it.

I hate calling people.
I always forget to return peoples calls.
Sometimes you buy a new phone and loose the number
and other times you move and you loose the address.

Myspace is great.. make your profile private if you dont want to meet strangers.. it is perfect for a friendly environment (neighbors,family,boyfriend.. it can also be used to help you with ur sched).I use it for my friends that move on to college or leave the country....

i have a myspace some people think myspace evil because of some people have gothic things and nasty things well... i dont it is actually pretty bad because some of them try to be funny well.. i hope that answers your question
