TRANSSMISION PRObLEM?
I HAVE AN 2005 FOCUS AND ITS AUTOMATIC I FELL IT SHAKE A LITTLE BIT? WHATS WRONG????




when in wating for the light to turn green it shakes not a lot but enough to feel a differance. also when in accelerating its kind of feels like in drive a stick shift car thing dont know what its called thank for the help

Unless you've driven ove 36,000 miles in the past year this is a problem covered under warranty. Let the dealership fix this one for free.

Thats not transmission related. It is normal engine vibration... Remember how many cylinders your car has? Its 4. And as far as I know they all need to have a counterbalance in them to make them feel like they run smoother. Is definitely not a 100% cure, but it helps. And when you feel it shift, this is normal too. If it don't shift you can't get up to the desired speeds you want without trying to sound like a race car doing a 100, in a 40.

Yes, possibly the locking torque converter, but another problem may be the PTV cable out of adjustment. I'd check that first. May also need a filter kit. Best of luck.

could be a number of problems, sounds like a torque converter though
