don't talk to her!! when she stabbed you in the back, you should have cut her off!!! never talk to her again. because friends like that aren't friends, they are your worst enemies!! you chould smack her, really hard. then find ways to get your revenge on what she did to you.

"My friend found out my email password and deleted a lot of my contacts along with all my emails that I had with them. I have no way to talk with my contacts now. Many live far away so i cant find it out again. I am sort of a pushover and dont know wat to say to her. She's done this kind of stuff before but this has crossed the line. I don't want our friendship to end. I don't want to get into a fight either--like two teenagers--but I feel like smacking her across the face. What should I do?"
I corrected and revised your question so that people can read it easier.

What spirit did she do it in? Joking? If so, she's too stupid to be friends with. She clearly has no respect for other people's boundaries. And what's wrong with you that you made it easy for her to find out your password? That was equally stupid. I don't mean to offend you but this clearly is not the first time this girl has done stuff that hacked your load so you need to get a clue that this peanut brain of a friend is no friend at all. All you've done in maintaining this friendship with such a troll is show her how lacking in any resistance (aka: spineless) you are and that you don't have any boundaries that are sacred enough that you'll kick her right out of your life over. If she did this in the spirit of general meanness she's neither original nor a friend. She's just a trainwreck. Ditch her and ALL people like her from your life. That's step one. Step two is to define yourself a little more by what's unacceptable in others so that you don't find yourself friends with those who see no problem with walking all over you. Abuse of this kind in a friendship is often a crime of opportunity. If people see you with a big "kick me" sign, some of them will do that very thing.

Pay attention to what I am about to say..............
Friends......do not do this. She is no friend. You have no reason why you should keep being friends with her unless you want it or something else to happen again.
Yes you are a push over. Do you know why? Because you want to believe there is goodness in everyone and so you trust them. This is a great quality but not very good for you.
She has crossed the line. Do not let her back across or you will just have to wait for the next time she does it.

Sorry to hear about that problem, Caligirl, but she doesn't sound like a friend, more like a foe.
She could be jealous of you, and all your email friends. That would be motive enough to delete them all from your computer.
She has done it before, and she done it again, and she will continue to find ways to sabotage your life again. I don't know why someone would won't to continue an association with the likes of her. But if you like the treatment you get by hanging out with her, then it is your decision on what to do and how to do it.
PS ---Back Stabbers by The O'Jays! an oldie song.

Unless you are willing to continue to be disrespected and walked on by this friend you need to stand up for yourself even if it means an end to the friendship. How did she get the password? You may need to change it and make sure doesn't get it in the future. Hopefully some of your contacts will write you.

Anyone who would do this to you does not consider you a friend, whether she consciously realizes it or not. It must be hard for you, since you consider her to be your friend. But, if she could do this to you, then there must be some underlying cause such as jealousy that she will never admit to you. I would say that you should probably keep your space from her, at least until she grows up a bit and feels more secure having you as a friend. Good luck!

Well you can't really lose something you don't have. You won't be losing a friend that's for sure! Change your password to something that has nothing to do with anything and DO NOT talk to him/her again. About the friends who got delted? Hopefully they will email you and you can save thier email that way. A true friend wouldn't have done that to you.

Well first change your password more often, second, if they are your friends, they will have your email address and can write to you first and then you will have their address again. Third, don't smack her on the face, that is to much like kissing, lead with a jab followed by a good uppercut.

I had a boyfriend that did the same thing to me because he was jealous! She has crossed a major line. Change your passwords immediately and write her an email telling he how much she hurt you. Explain that all of those friends are near and dear to your heart and that you can't believe she would do such a thing to you.
