I was just wondering.. Doesn't a guy start liking a girl because of how they look? You know, like first impressions? Or do you still follow that saying "It's what's inside that matters"?

...soorry....but yes, looks do matter, to a certain exstent, looks are the "lure" that brings the guy closer. So we'll want to talk to her, and get to know her inner beauty....the real her. Take my wife, alot times on the weekends she doesn't "put her face on" as she calls it. But you know what I still see that beautiful woman I married, at her very best.

OK, that saying is the biggest lie ever told! If a man was to approach you the last thing he will notice is what's on the inside. I know I've never to a girl because she has a good head on her shoulder, Yes appearance matters it's the first thing you see no matter who you meet for men and women! However after appearance come everything else.

A man is an "animal" and they are visual in every respect. I'm not a guy, but I am old enough to know that "yes, they are attracted to what they see first!". Wise up...sometimes you only get one opportunity to make a first impression with guys and with other people too. You can't "see" a personality. But, you are right, it is what is inside. However...if you want a job, a man, a friend....you have to make an effort to make a good first impression. Damn....are we human, or what?

We see what a girl looks like first, so that's our first attraction. If and when we get to know her better, then it's what is inside that counts.
Sadly, if the guy or girl, is unattractive in our eyes, we will never make the attempt to find the insides of that person.
It's just a fact of life, that men and women are attracted to good looking people.

Yes, appearance does matter. Initially its her looks that get his attention but in the end its the total package that wins his heart. No guys wants a girl that is pretty, rude, lazy without a job or without an education. Believe it or not....a great catch (guy) wants the exact same thing from the girl he chooses to date. If hes just looking for sex he could care less if she has three eyeballs and a tail !

I've asked plenty of guys the same question. The most frequent answer: Sure, appearence is the first thing that attracts them. But the inside matters too, unless the guy is incredibally shallow, like one of those guys who thinks that they're God's gift to girls...

Looks are like the appetizer. It gets us interested for what may/may not happen next. The inside is the entree. It makes us want to stay for dessert.

well looks definately help in the choosing of a mate. I know that im not going to go to sleep with a heavy set girl but some guys go for that kinda thing i guess its all what your preferences are
