Let's troubleshoot first:

1) can you ping your localhost?
2) can you ping your router/gateway?
3) can you ping www.yahoo.com?

*the first step is to find out if you have a working IP Stack.
*the second step is to make sure that your are getting connected to your access point.
*If everything was successfull the last step check you DNS resolv and internet connectivity(w/out the browser.

My friend has the same problem. Were at the stage where we have narrowed it down to the wep Key. Always remember if you make a change you must accept the changes. My friend is accessing the Internet but only by using the Ethernet cable; which of course defeats the purpose. Try the manufactures site for info or try this link

The perticular Wireless Router that you are connecting to is not compatable with a MAC computer.

Maybe because your router has WEP enable and need to configure the WEP in you computer, get into your router and see the configuration

Go into system prefs and go into network. Then click "assist me" and click "Diagnostics" Then just follow the instructions..
