I don't understand it myself. I hate buying shoes. I got rid of all my high heels and just wear flats for work and sandals during the summer and sneakers in winter. I have a pair of boots if it snows much and I have to go out and shovel.

It isnt just ladies that love shoes.
Some guys are maniacs for shoes.
Usher has something like 600 pairs of shoes.
I am not a girl that cares too much for shoes,
I have a pair of sneakers, sandles and my newest pair of shoes were some converse all stars. (they were my splurge of the year and they were on sale)
