it is normal, because most people that ive talked to have them, and one cause is rapid growth. But fortunateley there is a way to prevent them and cure them! Palmers Cocoa butter works really good! I think you should suggest that to her, and she will be glad you did!

is she tall? if she grew a lot in the past month or even years i guess that is why. or abnormal weight loss or weight gain for a short period can lead to that.. but like you said she is skinny. so talk to a doctor maybe. i think that they will just say they cant do anything about it but recommend shea or coco butter. there isnt a positive way to compeltely remove streth marks because of the laser technology today it has some risks. maybe getting a tan would help hide the stretch marks.

I have heard of using things like: Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter, Tone soap for pregnant woman after they get stretch marks from giving birth. Perhaps, this could help your cousins friend. Of course; I'm not a dermatologist or what ever a skin Doctor is called...maybe, she should consult a specialist.

It is normal. If she grew very quickly her skin might not have been able to keep up causing the stretch marks.

different body types experience different things as we are growing when the skin stretches it may leave stretch marks it may be because of numerous factors like did she lose weight, does she has dry skin(elasticity causes the mark) where are the stretch marks located

Probably not stretch marks. Probably just bunched veins. Also fat deposits. Everyone has fat, the body needs it to survive.
