Look, don't believe all this crap about the water pressure or whatever causing the flow of her period to stop. That is BS if I've ever heard it. Being in water causes the flow to wash away as soon as it leaves her body, hence making it appear to stop or slow down. It's all an illusion! If she isn't comfortable wearing tampons than there is nothing you can do but to be a good friend and understand. In a few days things should be back to normal and you can go then, or as someone else has alreay suggested, go to the mall, eat chocolate and try on a crap load of clothes. I would definitely appreciate you for that. Good luck!

The only way she can get in the water without having a mess is to wear a tampon. If she doesn't want to go you might just have to find someone else.

It's true, the blood flow never stops, it just thins.
She may get something called Toxic Shock Syndrome.
Many women suffer from this & are never able to wear tampons.
Just ask her what she want's to do. She may just want to rent a movie & hang around the home front. If you are unselfish & choose consider how she feels in this uncomfortable time, that to me is a very good friend.

If she really wants to try it, she could just wear a pad with maybe shorts or something like a wrap to keep on hand for a cover-up (in worse case scenario). If she gets in the water (like her whole lower body area) the blood flow usually stops for some girls. That's a big chance to take, but it's the best alternative I can think of. Hope it works!

You can't make her go if she doesn't want to, and not all girls are comfortable wearing tampons.
Either find someone else to go with you, or find something else to do with her and go to the waterpark together another time.

tell her to wear a liner as well as a tampon, no one will notice it...and if she leaks..something will catch it.
as long as you're in the water, nothing is going to come out of her anyways.
