There are many great shows. If you are talking about a weekly night time soap, Dallas was a great hit for a long long time. If you are talking about a mini series, my favorite was Centennial. It all depends on how far you want to go back. In the 50's I love Lucy was a long time big hit. How about in the 70's The Waltons was aired for a long time, and Little House on the Prairie. I'm anxious to read your answers and find out which ONE you are referring to.
