When we moved out to the country about 14 years ago (I was 13),my sister and I wanted to catch fireflies in a jar like we always saw in the movies. My mom told us to take a jar of table salt outside and throw it on the fireflies. The salt would make the fireflies heavy and they'd drop to the ground where we could catch them.
We wasted 4 big jars of salt before we realized it was a joke. She and her friends were laughing non stop the whole time.

I was having problems with my car and my brother said I need to check my blinker fluid and rotate the air in my tires, I freaked out and said "how much is that going to cost"? (think about it) All they did was laugh, so now when I have a car question they always ask me this!
Now I play the joke on my lil sis!

I never fell for a prank but I have been pranked when I was turning 10. I had to invite this boy I didn't like because my mom made me invite everyone who invited me. I opened his gift and there was a spider crawling in and it was real. All my friends freaked and I'm like "JAMES!!!" His friend Ryan laughed really hard.

my friend sent me this email (like 7 years ago) saying there was going to be a casting call for 10 year olds who wanted to be a back ground person in one of 'nsync's videos so i went all the way to the place and saw no one there. my friend laughed at me for weeks after that.

i fell for my dads trick he had taken the big refrigerator out into the yard thier was all this ice on the ground as i came in because it was near dec i believed him when he told me tha santa claus had just called to see me because he had not recieved a note with my christmas list on, i was very young but i told all my friends made me an idiot for a couple of weeks.

when my brother tied me to railroad tracks in the middle of the night, and then a train started coming. but actually the train was on the **next** set of tracks. I just didn't know it. when it got close I screamed and almost had a heart attack. I fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

well it wasn't me but its only funny now cuz i met her and she deserved it. be this girl when she was in 5th grade a few boys wanted to play a parnk on her so one boy peed in a cup and told her it was apple juice. she drank it and only found out after school that it was pee. she told her mom and left the school. everyone laughed about it when he left.
