both is a good way to tell her you like her. My boyfriend now did it over text and it was no big deal. I think just hearing that you like her will make her happy no matter how you tell her :)

How long you can write to expess that you love her? Just meet her and find a chance to say you love her. By meeting you she will figure it you if you really love her or not.

its always better to do it in person - email and text is no way to communicate. Or worse breaking up via email is one of the worst.

If you are capable of looking her in the eye, then definitely by
meeting her.
If you do it by text, she may think of you as cowardly.
However, at least she will be thinking about you, right?
