His last movie was Rush Hour 2 in 2001. His next movie is Rush Hour 3 in 2007.
Anyone else think he is very funny and should play more movies? and why doesnt he?

I couldnt be happier that he hasnt made a movie in 7 years. Lets hope for 7 more!
He's not funny he's annoying.

All it tells me is one of three things:
1. He can't get any roles because he is typecast as his Rush Hour character.
2. ***He isn't TALENTED enough to get different roles.***
3. He made so much $ from the 2 Rush Hour movies he doesn't need to make other movies, and reputedly he wanted $20 million to do Rush Hour 3...and trust me, he's not worth that.
Frankly, I think he tried too hard to be an Eddie Murphy/Chris Rock clone, and never developed a style of his own. I think the "cop buddy" movie genre has been done to death anyway...Rush Hour 2 should have been the last one...I'll be surprised if this one does really well in the US...it will do better overseas, but it will be thanks to Jackie Chan's huge popularity abroad, not Tucker's. He is mainly comic relief, and frankly I don't think he could handle a leading man role. He's definitely not as good as he thinks he is, and surely isn't worth anywhere close to $20 million a film.

He hasn't made anything because his asking price per movie was too high. He wanted $20 million to do Rush Hour 3! They told him no, and Jackie Chan put the project on hold. Now that Tucker hasn't done anything for over 5 years, his price has gone down. He's been doing stand-up recently, but it doesn't generate the money like doing a movie does.

Most movies he has been type casted as a thug or a loud mouth. He actually lives down the street from my friend and said that he wouldnt do any more movies where he would have to use profane language because he is beginning to get in touch with religion a little more.

really?? wow, i didn't know that! i think he's a great actor and he should be in more movies! i really loved Rush Hour 1 & 2 'cuz he was just so funny! i think he and Jackie Chan make a good movie pair!

I know he's been putting in work in Africa, with Bono and them. I can't say I miss him, because all he's done is set black folks back, through his constant cooning in movies.

he believes he's a 20 million dollar actor, which he ain't. apparently lots of producers, directors etc don't seem to think so either.
