memory ? increase it defrag? compress all music hit properties on each music folder and compress ready to archive and it will compress them.. divide ur c drive into 3 parts and move all music out of c drive put it into media D drive and check ur GB if ur not having 80 then perhaps ur comp is to cluttered down add lavasoft to scan for spyware ( free its what roadrunner uses) and put history in ur internet tool options to 0 for days delete all cookies and temp internet files daily and perhaps u have a worm it will lag... keep it cool room too maybe fan needs tower needs to be cleaned

Run system restore but only as a last resort. This is going to set your computer back to the most recent "Working Settings", which means it will set your computer back to "Normal".

u should start all over but put ur documents on a flash drive or sumthin...but overwrite the existing windows or whatever u have and that should work...

first get new RAMs, 512MB will be good.. format and install new windows, don't use too many protection programs..
