I want to take the images right off of my computer and put them into a HTML document i am making and the pictures wont show up im using the correct html tag the but its still not working can anyone help!

Often what happens is that people create a webpage on their computer and link to images on their hard-drive. When the page is uploaded to the internet it still has links to your hard-drive which obviously it can't access.
Upload the images to your webspace first and create your webpage so it points to images on your website, then when you upload the page it will still have valid links in it.

I think you should create the page in a single directory so that your links will point to the correct file... when you upload to the server and you have sub directories verify that the path to the files are correct. i would have to guess that the main reason that your images don't show is because you're not pointing to the file... to test it i would put the image in the same directory as the page (becaue it's not hard to mess up a path in the same directory) and make sure it will load... if it does then move it to where ever in your file structure and type the correct path...

Make sure that you're pointing to the right source and that are uploaded to the web page before you reference them.
