I think dreams are just concepts that are being tossed about in the mind of the dreamer and it is in a language that the dreamer understands regardless of age. The content of the dream is an interesting question. What language is the baby's parents speaking in a baby's dream. I knew a person that was teaching Portuguese in Brazil. He had not seen his parents in several years. Towards the end of his teaching job, he dreamed about home. Not having heard English for months, his mom spoke fluent Portuguese to him in his dream. The only language she knows is American English.

Who knows what a baby dreams. I could be snuggles, a full belly, an mothers lullaby.
