What a great question! I can't wait to read all the different answers you are going to get.
I LOVE my job. I work in Human Resources, and I sometimes know more about certain people than they know about themselves (like if they are going to be fired soon....LOL) I even get to do Criminal Background Checks so I can see who the criminals are who try to work for us.
Our department is awesome, we all get along so well and work well together. I work in a not-for-profit agency, the pay is lacking, but the people here are so caring and they obviously believe in what they do. (We offer counseling services, group homes for MR/DD adults, and Home Health Services). It feels good to know that I am helping to support people who are doing so much good in the community. (Except for the occasional "criminal" we don't wind up hiring because their CBC came back with a history.)
I meet so many people every day in my job, and every day is a new day with new issues and new "fires" to put out. Never a boring day to be had.
I wouldn't change what I do for anything. (Except when we decide to start a family, then I may want to be a "stay at home" Mom, I don't know about that yet.)

Working for the United States Government as a Low Temperature Physicist in the field of Cryogenics AND getting paid four times than what my last job paid me...HELL YEAH!!! It is the coolest job ever.

I like my job because I have fun using a computer and get paid for it. Then, I go home and have more fun using another computer. I'm having a ball!

I am still in high school. I am a janitor in a high school. No, it is not fun and I cannot wait to quit in about 3 years after I finish my education.
