DON'T GO TO BLACKPOOL, IT'S A DUMP...HONESTLY, IT'S HORRIBLE. GO SOMEWHERE PRETTY LIKE SNOWDONIA OR DEVON. BLACKPOOL IS SO TACKY!
GOWER PENINSULA IN SOUTH WALES HAS BEAUTIFUL BEACHES.

Blackpool is great and need not be expensive. Its not all tacky either. Instead of staying around central Blackpool head up to the north shore, Bispham or Cleverlys are a short tram ride or go to St Anne's for the day. Fleetwood is also just a tram ride away, its a nice day out with the Freeport Shopping Centre and a great market for bargains. Have nice time.

Stay away from Blackpool. Choose Devon or Cornwall, Bath, the Cotswold's, or the Lake District.

Blackpool is the **** of British holiday resorts, close to the **** end (Morcambe Bay). If you like tacky rip-off arcades and such then by all means go there, but I personally think that most places on the East coast are far better.

agreed there are loads of better places in the UK to go compared to blackpool.
Actually not just loads of places - everywhere in the UK is better than blackpool! You could just put a pin in the map & have a better time.
unless your on a stag doo or a giant pissup with a bunch of mates of course then you'll be fine.
good luck - hope you havnt' already paid.
worto.

i've got by no ability been to Blackpool, I went on holiday in London some cases, it rather is a huge place to flow to, slightly large yet rather undemanding to discover your way around owing to the underground.

One obvious reason would be its less trouble to get to. No flying involved for instance which means no danger of hyjacking etc.
