what do u know about patches? anyone uses them? are they ok for 23 y.o. female

The patches are fine for a 23yr old to use.
The biggest complaint about the patches is that it sticks so well, that it actually strips the skin away when you are removing it.
Talk to your doctor and find whats best for you.
I personally take the pill, but have often thought about switching to the patch

My friend is on the patch, she says you aren't supposed to smoke with it (she does) cause of the warnings. I've personally been on Depo Provera for 10 years, which is supposedly a no-no too cause it leaches minerals out of your body after extended use (like as long as I have, don't know if it has me yet). I would think the patch would be ok for you, talk to your doctor and find out the risks and if it would be worth it or if they think something else might be better for you.

I usually look for a chick with a tattoo on her lower back. Then when I'm about to give that money shot... I pull out. The lower back tattoo is just a target.
As for the patches... you could check with your physician instead of asking complete strangers.

I use the pill. Levlen. I think it is the best, no weight gain. I would not recommend using the patch in the summer time.
