Hiệp Chủng Quốc Hoa Kỳ or Hiệp Chủng Quốc Mỹ.
Short ways to say USA in Vietnamese is just HOA KỲ [pronounced: hwa kee ] or MỸ QUỐC [pronounced: mee kwok ] or just MỸ.
(example: Tôi đi Mỹ / Tôi đi Hoa Kỳ : I go to America)

Hiệp Chủng Quốc means 'country of racially united'
HOA KỲ literally means 'floral flag', referring to the flag of America.
MỸ QUỐC literally means 'beautiful country'.

Hope it's informative enough.

"Nước Mỹ" or "Mỹ" for short. "Nước" means country and Mỹ means beautiful (if I'm not wrong, haha).

There is another official way to call: "Hoa Kì" = America; or longer: "Hợp chủng quốc Hoa Kỳ" = USA, 'cause "hợp chủng quốc" = "The United States".
