There actually is no single greatest mind, everyone knows something that someone else doesn't. There have also been undescovered or uncelebrated minds that may have been slightly greater than history's greatest, by opinion!

Nichola Tesla. His theories dealing with electricity were spot-on. They were also provable and useful.
They had no precedent and he was basically working with tools that were 100 years behind his mind.
Compounded with that, his "deeper" insights are still being researched by at least two of the world's governments and the files are still locked.
Now that's science.

There is no one person who was the best sciene mind as science is a team effort. We have to work together.

There isn't just one. People have come up with theories (e.g. Newton, Einstein, Copernicus, etc.), but these people rarely were able to prove their own theories. It is the combined work of many people that make a single person noteworthy.

I like George Washington Carver. He was born a slave, yet he spent his life in a singular manner so that he might understand nature and help his people. I like him, not only for what he accomplished but, also, for what he was.
