Don't like it that the Republicans kick your duff on this issue? The Democrats are the cut and run party remember? You are the one's who took the johnny one note issue and kicked out one of your senior senators for backing the war. Now you don't like it the RNC uses your failed opinions to defeat you?

Come on "G" don't pull that Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11 stuff...that is getting old. Now go back and read the NY Times articles about Al Zarkawi and his relation to al queda, 9/11 and Iraq....thanks buddy.

Democrats today are the socialist party... actually, FDR was, too, so it's not a new phenomenon. The requirements to be "a Democrat" include subscribing to every politically correct niche ever created, having a total lack of conviction when confronted with a challenge, holding a collectivist mentality, and having a total disregard for unborn children. h-mmm, i guess i'll stop here... simply put: Democrats suffer from the "testicle lockbox syndrone."

Nah, to me it's not a question of Republicans getting a lot of contributions, the Dems will catch up: it's the exploitative fear-mongering. There's no particular reason to mount such a large effort at this exact time except to falsely portray Dem's as weak on security, and to prey on the most primitive, primal instincts of people -- fear. While you have them shaking, you can pick the up the dollars that fall out of their pockets.
Republicans claim to be the party of optimism, but they are the party of fear mongering. They often portray themselves as the exact opposite of what they really are, rewrite history, even as soon as the next day. Example: saying the Lieberman was kicked out of the party --lost the primary by a popular vote, a vote of the people. This is a democracy, remember?

Ha, ha, check your link now, the front page has been updated: "WASHINGTON - While the British terror suspects were hatching their plot, the Bush administration was quietly seeking permission to divert $6 million that was supposed to be spent this year developing new homeland explosives detection technology.Congressional leaders rejected the idea, the latest in a series of steps by the Homeland Security Department that has left lawmakers and some of the department's own experts questioning the commitment to create better anti-terror technologies."

I'm baffled as to why your gloating and presenting the link as evidence. Evidence to what, a callousness and manipulation of fear.
its the same as when republicans came to new york a liberal state, to remind the nation how much 9/11 affected the southern states and red states more than the liberals.......shamefully in new york.
I am greatful to the British for having stopped the bombers, it would have been painful to go through those memories of our own country.
You think this is a Republican issue. Which it isn't, this is a American issue, you like to parrot the talkshow host and the fox news little sound bytes....but
you suggest that any president wouldn't protect his people from terrorism, it is soo riduculous, and for you to really believe it is pure huberis.
Next you parrot the Liberman talking points, the people of Conneticut told the world that they're wants are better represented by the new candidate..... what is so hard to get. Why shouldn't Connecitcut be represented...thats what your critizing essentially.
What i also take issue is this belief and term cut and run.....so easy to say but there is not fact or thought in it........
your advocating the U.S take a side in the Iraqi civil war for power.
your advocting that we put one side in power, so instead of Sadam they have us.
your advocating the same old same old which hasn't been working.
your party refuses to even agree that we will ever withdraw...in the future or otherwise.
You can lie to yourself all you want.....but i too smart for that.

kick our duff?
you guys think that Iraq had something to do with 9-11... it's like playing cards with my brother's kids trying to talk about rational issues with you guys...
the question is... why do you have to take credit for everything in the war on terror, yet blame others for your clear failures?
what failed opinions? we want to fight terror, not use it as an exucuse to focus on a country that had little to do with terror?
