Since this country is made up of a predominantly white population it would stand to reason that the popular vote would lean that way. Women have only had the vote since 1919, so they have come a long way in a relatively short time. I haven't seen any female candidates come forward that had an agenda that I cared to back. I know too much about hillary and you couldn't make me vote for her with a gun to my head. Conde knows her way around on the foreign issues, but I don't know her domestic views. The President of the US is a very powerful position and needs a strong person at the helm.

Because that is usually the majority of the people that run for president. Ask yourself, how many men that are a minority have actually ran for President. And same thing for women...being a woman does not make me want to have a woman in the White House. It is a man's job, which I do not believe a woman would be the best for. Men are more equipped for the role of running the most powerful nation in the free world.

That will change in time.
So far the country has not been ready for the President to be either of non Caucasian descent or have two X chromosomes.
Time changes everything.
There are those right now that believe Hillary Clinton may someday be the first female President of the United States of America.
We will see. Time will tell.

Becaue a lot of America is white. Think about all the areas that have white. Im Irish, Scottish, German, and English.... all white. Plus immigrants cant run, because you have to be born in the U.S.A and im sure in the near future there will be a woman or cultural person. If Condalisa Rice was President she would be the first African American and first woman!

I cant say why because "the people" vote to put the President in office. But I can say that had Colon Powell ran I would have voted for him. I dont know yet if I would vote for Condi or not...it would depend on the opponent....But I know there are very capable minorities and women out there that would make a great President. They have to run before we can elect them....and they have not put forth their best canidate as of yet..

LOL
Tough question
but the hard truth is that the percentage of corruption happens to be more in white men....
My opinion is that a president is a perfect corrupted politician
Also, i know that the first black president will be killed even before elected...
it is kinda sexist and racist too
i hope Hillary Clinton wins if she runs (for a change)

Because who votes in the greatest numbers? The elderly, they elderly lean right, and are very traditional. Plus no woman or minority with a legitimate chance has ever run (Jessie Jackson is a washed up loser, who needs to go away, his attempt was hardly worth mentioning). It will always be this way, mabye we will see a female in charge, but never a minority.

Because they are voted in. Plain and simple. Majority rules.
The same reason that South Korea has... a Korean president. You think white people don't live in Korea?

At a logical guess i would say its because, women didnt have rights and are still struggling for rights - also some choose raising children (which is to be honest a tough job in itself) over career.
Also USA has throughout history been racist - and many of the inequalities still remain , and will for a long time.

Because that is what the American voter wants, and he/she makes his/her choice with her/his ballot.
A person cannot just jump up and say, " I am the President, and just because I am not white and male means nothing to me. I'm here and there's nothing you can do about it,...so there."
