Loyalty also includes being loyal to yourself as well as the special person in your life. Find happiness within first and then you'll be free to be loyal to others. If you're not happy in the relationship, ask yourself why. What are the reasons, why you want to be free? Have you fallen out of love with him? I recently learned that I could love someone; but not be in love.

Should you feel that you love this person but not in love; you should break it off. Otherwise the relationship will turn sour. It could interfere with the possibility of being friends in the future. I wish you luck and wisdom to do the right thing! Your heart knows what to do.

Go by your instincts. You don't owe loyalty to anybody or anything. Claim your freedom but act wise.
