Only if it is his wife. No one else should come before her, and vise-versa.

It would depend on the condition of your marriage.I do not like the fact that most of my wife's friends are men. She cheated in the past so this puts much stress on our marriage. I also had a few female friends before I got married, I tried not to have sex with them, but in a few cases, the woman were the aggressors and I gave in. 1 of them is still a friend, she is married, and I keep my distance from anything sexual with her. I want a friend, not a friend with benefits, that usually can wreck what was once a good friendship.

His wife would be his best friend only in a perfect world... There is nothing wrong with being married and having a best friend from the oppssite sex, as long as that friend is not the first priority in his life. take my advise from own experience: Unless you want to LOSE HIM, don't make an issue out of this. If he comes home to you every night and he makes sure you are aware that you are who really matters to him then let him have her.. If you make a fuzz out of this he will see you as the evil one and he will being to see more in his female friend of what he sees less in you...

Despite what is often said, wives should not be their husbands' best friend. Having said that, it's not really unheard of a man to have a platonic, female buddy, but when he's married and has a female "best friend" he's asking for trouble. Nothing sexual might be going on at all, but his wife might feel that he is confiding things to her about their marriage, and that definitely should not be going on.

For the 'married man' and 'woman best friend' sure fine, no prob.
The wife could be considered a time bomb at this point, but no biggie as long as those pals maintain they're bond and feed the need for buddy stimulation they share - together tick, tick, tick, tick...

A woman best friend. I think that a best friend can be anyone he chooses to be his best friend. His wife is his wife. She can be his best friend if he wants her to be. There are somethings that you don't even tell your wife.

That's a tough question. I don't think the spouse has to be the other spouse's best friend, but when the best friend is a person of the opposite sex, it's questionable. Overall, it depends on the people involved. If the husband's best friend looks like Angelina Jolie, I wouldn't let them go out by themselves. lol

I think it is ok. I had a female best friend that shared the same interest in books and philosophical discussions that I did. My wife completely approved.

Yes it's okay.
If his wife is his best friend all the better, but there is nothing wrong with a married individual having a best friend of the opposite sex who isn't their spouse.

It's okay, especially if she's hot, with a bigger rack, digs oral and doesnt nag the bejeesus out of him on a constant basis... Guys that dont have friends like this you usually see on the news after they've gone postal...
