in case you advise to record move no, except you're some type of electronics genius. also Hacking your DirecTV receiver is a criminal contained in the U. S.. The signal is recorded undecoded and your receiver decodes anytime you watch it.that's in contract with this methodology vendors. Any record transfers you're in a position to finish are in violation of honest use. besides the undeniable fact that with nice interconnects and both a television computer card or a stand on my own DVD recorder you're able to play back on the DVR and record to DVD. this would not be a contravention. in the different case no

cable. i tried Directv once for like a month and it was the worst thing ever!! i hated it!!! All the chanels were over 200+ it was sooo annoying!!! CABLE IS THE BEST!
