he's so cute but definately looks aren't everything in my book but i don't know how to tell him that if we are to be he needs to start shaping up himself??????????

Tell him. Whether or not he shapes up and becomes motivated is up to him. If this guy cares anything about you and thinks you have a future at all, he will get the message with a little "tough love". Good luck!

He has plenty of time to wash his face without a job. That's why he looks so good.Generally if you're not working 40 hours a week you're probably much more pelasant to be around. That's why he's so much fun to be around. Then there's all the other stuff though. I wouldn't break up with him right now. Just because he's not doing much now doesn't mean he will be that way forever. Try to figure out for yourself whether or not he has the 'potential to be the kind of man you feel you need in your life. I just hope you don't pass up on a good thing because he's in a rut right now in his life, that's all.

Well, if you don't like a guy who is broke, unemployed, and no mobility for the future, then he doesn't sound like the ideal guy to me.

Girl, you shouldn't have to tell him and chances are..he knows that.
Don't give him a free ride. If you want a booty call-then draw yourself some clear lines and leave it at that. Otherwise, kick his @s$ to the curb and find someone who's mature enough to know these things AND who's got the looks you want.

Don't be too abrasive about it, but definitely do say something. Inspire and motivate him, don't put him down. If after 2 months or so of inspiration and motivation he still isn't off his butt, then cut the ties! Good Luck

well, if you don't like him for the way he is, then he clearly is not the "ideal guy," then. if he were, then he would ideally have all that stuff in tact, too. the right guy is only what you expect him to be, and no one is perfect.
