I do not think democrats hate America. I think they hate the fact that they are not in power, and are willing to do anything to get back into power even if it means running down America, or thinking everything President Bush does is wrong. Look what they did to one of their own poor Libermann was their vice presidental canidate and in the primary for president last year. He supported something they think will get them back into power if they oppose and they turn their backs on him. He will get the last laugh and will win as independent and no longer have any obligations to them so will vote as he pleases and they will regret turning on him so quickly. Lucky for us not all democrats are wacko liberals!!!!!! There are still some grass root democrats that are gonna make a stand. Poor Hillary will never be president! woohoo!!!!!

It's really a shame that this is the state of discourse in the United States these days. Everyone thinks they have the sole claim on what the nation should be and do, and anyone who disagrees "hates America".
Many Democrats are naturally critical of the government these days because Republicans control all three branches of it. But the government is not the nation. Being critical of the president is not the same as hating America. It's not even the same as hating the president. It's a very immature attitude to equate critcism with hatred.
A better question for you to ask would be, "Why do I believe so many Democrats hate America?" The answer is probably that you either haven't talked about the issues with enough of them, or you just didn't know they were Democrats when you had the conversation.
For the record, I don't believe Republicans hate our country either. We disagree about a lot of issues, but that's what politics is all about. And that's okay.

Democrats are just upset with all the problems that's been created since Bush has been in office! Things never seem to be going in the right direction, all they do is get worse! If only he was more diplomatic with other countries, and pull our men out of those countries, that know nothing else but war, maybe things would improve! Other countries look at us, and don't know what to think anymore. We the people want peace. At least for most of us!! War is not the answer, and our economy is also in big trouble due to not raising minimum wage! Its not just a democrat we need, but someone, anyone, that can get this nation back on track!!

To the outside world, America acts like a thug country, trying to solve every problem with force and gaining many enemies in the process. I think that is what the Democrats hate. America setting a bad example for the rest of the world and not being even aware of it.
And no it other countries are not jelous of America, this is self delusion.

Democrates don't hate America! Give me a break Bush has rating in the 30%'s and the Republicans are going to lose control of the house and senate in November. The reason....failed policies,lies, war and a government unwilling to do what is right.

I'm a Democrat & I don't hate America. I hate what our Presidents, current & past, have done to our country. I hate that people are looking to blame someone else for their own mistakes, Democrat, Republican or other party.

What in the world makes you think Democrats don't love their country? Democrats love their country as much or more than Republicans.
Not agreeing with the incumbent President and his cronies only shows that Democrats are willing to do whatever they can to see that all Americans get a chance to be successful and share some of the bounty of this wonderful country.
The Democratic base are caring people who, for example, do not fear pointing out that the so-called "War on Terror" is predicated upon a lie that there were WMDs in Iraq! They lied! Do some research and you will see just how deep this goes. Read "American Theocracy" by Kevin Phillips, for example.
I could give so many, many examples of lies and just plain incompetence, but I will not clutter the board with all the issues.
A terrorist is defined as "somebody who uses violence, or threats of violence to intimidate for political purposes".
Exactly the way that our President has used 9/11 for all kinds of political reasons! He trots out his rhetoric that "they hate us for our freedom" and using that logic, proceeds to limit or take away our freedoms in the name of security and a bogus "war on terror"!!!
You are a victim of a Republican propaganda that says anyone who does not agree with the administration's policies must hate America! I cannot believe intelligent people cannot see that, but many people continue to be so ignorant of what is going on that this lie that Democrats don't love America is easily spread.
Unfortunately, as evidenced by recent surveys showing that some fifty percent of Americans still think Saadam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden are buddies and that Iraq was involved in the 9/11 attacks, it is near impossible to enlighten those who do not care enough about their country to read and understand what is going on!
How do those of us who see what rights we are losing and how much we could lose effect change? Scream from the roof tops that the "Terrorist In Chief" is responsible for what may become the Armageddon Bush believes will happen and that his destiny is to bring that particular fairy tale to fruition?
Think first before you condemn others for defending their country by educating those who either don't read news or don't take the time to educate themselves and believe political sound bites and propaganda.
I'm so embarrassed for us.....
Read! Educate yourself! Understand that it is the Republicans that are not defending and therefore harming their country by supporting this incredibly arrogant, ignorant and incompetant administration!

I don't hate America, Im very proud to be an American. I hate what the Republicans have done to it in just 6 short years. It's the Republicans I hate. But Im sure your getting richer and richer so your happy.

Typically,the Democratic agenda has nothing to do with love of country, but hate of everything moral and good. Such as killing babies, assiting suicides, promoting gay/homo propaganda, weaking our nations defense by protesting war against anyone, no matter what they do. Leveling our economy so that we all are on welfare not just the lazy-refuse-to work for a living Americans.
So I guess...the answer to the question is better said like this....the truth is they hate America and that is why one becomes a Democrat in the first place!

They talk against what they think is wrong because they - I am assuming - love our country.
I, on the other hand, as an independent, hate the dems and reps. mainly for childish, no-balled questions like this. YOU are doing YOUR part to weaken the union by pointing your finger at everyone but yourself. So, in light of your destruction of a unified American society...one could ask:
